A team from Mutah University
participated in the activities of the Fifth International Conference entitled
"Innovative Solutions to the Challenges of Pharmacology and Modern
Toxicology - KSAPT 2024," sponsored by the Saudi Minister of Health from
April 20-23, 2024, in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The team, supervised by Prof. Dr.
Afaf Al-Nadaf, consisted of students: Ghofran Al-Asasfeh and Hamza Mutaawaa
from the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Ahmed Al-Kaabi from the college of Medicine.
They qualified for the semi-finals. This competition aims to enhance
interaction between students and experts in the field of Toxicology and raise
awareness about toxicology. The team achieved first place in their group in the
first stage and reached the semi-finals, securing fourth place overall after
competing with 20 other Saudi and Arab universities.
