In my name and on behalf of the academic and administrative staff of the Faculty, I am pleased to welcome you to the Faculty of Pharmacy at Mutah University. This emerging faculty promises a bright future for its students, and we are confident that studying pharmacy with us is an excellent formula for a prosperous and fruitful future.
It is a source of pride and joy for us to etch our names into the history of knowledge, as the first Faculty of Pharmacy in southern Jordan, particularly at Mutah University, “The Sword and the Pen.” This is where students combine the principles of disease and treatment, creating a blessed blend that produces graduates equipped with the medical values needed to provide healthcare and pharmaceutical services on all levels.
I extend my deepest greetings and sincere appreciation from this academic institution, a true home of learning, research, and development. We highly value the spirit of belonging and cooperation within the Faculty of Pharmacy at Mutah University, "The Sword and the Pen," in our endeavor to achieve the academic and professional aspirations for the benefit of our students, the future pharmacists of our beloved homeland.
The faculty’s vision reflects leadership and uniqueness in offering distinguished and inspiring study programs, which help students—whether undergraduates or master’s students—build their academic and professional skills. The ongoing efforts made by the faculty to provide and ensure the best educational environment that promotes the development of future pharmacists in healthcare are invaluable.
We greatly appreciate the efforts of our faculty, administrative staff, and those managing the faculty’s affairs to achieve its academic and professional ambitions. These are unique and outstanding milestones as a healthy and pharmaceutical environment that shines on national, regional, and international levels.
We constantly look forward to strengthening ties with the local community, alumni, and sustaining the college’s development, as we firmly believe that your views and suggestions will enhance the educational, cultural, and social environment for all students, stimulating their constructive critical thinking. Our open-door policy and active collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the Jordan Food and Drug Administration, the Pharmacists' Association, as well as pharmaceutical companies and warehouses across this generous homeland, without exclusion, discrimination, or monopolizing opinion, will support good governance and reinforce the desired transparency and integrity, to the benefit of the college and its students.
In light of the significant challenges facing the profession today, with real risks that threaten its current state and future, addressing these concerns has become as important as other challenges. This calls upon all of us to unite in elevating the profession. This also emphasizes the college's role in achieving high professionalism among its students and in the application of professional ethics and legislation with full integrity and fairness. Your active involvement in elevating the college’s reputation to meet these goals reflects a sincere and strong commitment on your part to serving the community and developing pharmaceutical skills.
We rely on the combined efforts to support the initiatives aiming to position the Faculty of Pharmacy at Mutah University at a prestigious level in global rankings. The faculty has doubled its focus on improving the quality of teaching and achieving program outcomes that provide the pharmaceutical and medical community with graduates of high caliber, equipped to meet the current era and its challenges. Additionally, more attention is being given to scientific research, along with establishing partnerships with peers in various local, regional, and international universities; the college believes in the importance of openness and exchanging expertise in this regard.
We are grateful for the ongoing efforts of our students and their perseverance in achieving academic and intellectual excellence, and we are certain that our college will remain a center for knowledge and excellence in the pharmaceutical field, inspiring and empowering future generations to uphold these values.
The faculty takes pride in the distinguished academic and scientific contributions of all faculty members and highly values the genuine awareness of its students in adhering to its noble mission, enhancing its vision, and solidifying their position in the community and at national, regional, and international forums.
